What Permits Do I Need?

A Development Permit is required for most signs. A Building Permit may be required depending on the type of sign. If your sign is illuminated, an Electrical Permit will be required.

• The following signs do no require permits – Election, Real Estate, and Garage Sale. Please refer to the Land Use Bylaw or contact Development Services for more information about where these signs can be placed.
