There are 2 indoor hockey arenas, 4 indoor courts, the pool facility includes a 6 lane, 25m indoor main pool, childrens pool, hot tub, steam room and wheelchair lift.
The Hinton Skateboard park is located adjacent to the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre, as is the Rotary Spray & Play, along with a variety of sports fields including 4 baseball diamonds, 2 soccer pitches, football field, 400m running track and food booth.
The Recreation Centre also houses Hinton Parent Link, Hinton Youth Centre and Hinton Municipal Library.
