Föhn Festival and Canada Day Celebrations

Hinton's signature event! The Föhn Festival is Hinton's opportunity to celebrate the region's historical significance, connect with neighbours, understand the cultures that make up our community, increase a sense of community pride and showcase our rich diversity to new residents and visitors.
The Föhn Festival Society of Hinton is a non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers. Canada Day (July 1st) celebrations include parade, pancake breakfast, Canada Day cake, and fireworks (June 30th), as well as great entertainment in Green Square the following day.

Weekend passes are available with rv/tent camping on-site! The festival features 2 performance stages, beer gardens, food and art vendors, and kids activities. Festival Shuttle Bus to and from Hinton (several pickup/drop-off spots), WMMF General Store on-site for all your festival needs. Weekend passes are available. We are currently seeking festival volunteers as well as sponsors.
