The Town of Hinton helps coordinate a magical mixture of art, food, recreation, and family fun events organized by community groups. Fohn Festival & Canada Day Celebrations
July 1, 2021 Green Square (PENDING COVID-19 Restrictions)
Hinton's signature event! The Föhn Festival is Hinton's opportunity to celebrate the region's historical significance, connect with neighbors, understand the cultures that make up our community, increase a sense of community pride and showcase our rich diversity to new residents and visitors. The Föhn Festival Society of Hinton is a non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers. Canada Day [July 1st] celebrations include parade, pancake breakfast, Canada Day cake, and fireworks [June 30th], as well as great entertainment in Green Square the following day!
July 16-18, 2021 Entrance Ranch (8km North on Highway 40) - (PENDING COVID-19 Restrictions)
Weekend passes are available with rv/tent camping on-site! The festival features 2 performance stages, beer gardens, food and art vendors, and kids activities. Festival Shuttle Bus to and from Hinton (several pickup/drop-off spots), WMMF General Store on-site for all your festival needs. Weekend passes are available. We are currently seeking festival volunteers as well as sponsors.
