Water and Sanitary Upgrade

MPE Engineering Ltd. (MPE), on behalf of the Town of Hinton, is soliciting tenders from qualified contractors to complete the water and sanitary upgrades for Hardisty Avenue and Switzer Drive. Tenders will be accepted on MPE’s Bidding System until 2:00:00 pm local time, Thursday, April 6, 2023.

The work included in this project is located at Hardisty Avenue and Switzer Drive.

Major work items are as follows:

3. Remove and Replace Sanitary Pipe by Trenching                                190                m
4. Remove and Replace Watermain by Directional Drilling                     600                m
5. Remove and Replace Watermain by Trenching                                     260                m
6. Remove and Replace Sanitary Manholes                                                5               units
7. Remove and Replace Sanitary Services                                                  6               units
8. Remove and Replace Water Services                                                     6               units
9. Existing Watermain Tie-ins                                                                    9               units
10. Hot Mix Asphalt                                                                                   2300         sq. m

The Town of Hinton reserves the right to waive informalities in, or reject any or all tenders, or accept the Tender deemed most favourable in the interest of the Town.
