The Chief Administrative Officer is Town Council’s only Employee and he ensures Council decisions are implemented as well as oversees all Town Administration. Town Administration is organized by division then department. The division directors oversee inter-related departments and functions in order to achieve best outcomes for approved programs and resources. Contact the Executive Assistant at 780.865.6072 to arrange for the mayor and/or councillors to attend your event or grand opening.
If, after you have spoken to the division director that is responsible for that particular area of concern, you still feel the issue has not been resolved, then contact the CAO’s office (780-865-6072) to arrange an appointment with the CAO directly.
If your concern is a policy or regulatory matter, and you are still not satisfied, you have the right to bring your concerns and disagreement forward to Council by appearing as a delegation at an upcoming council meeting. Contact the Executive Assistant at 780-865-6072 to discuss “appearing as a delegation” requirements and to arrange a date to appear. Council could at the meeting bring forward a resolution by way of motion or provide further direction to Administration as required. If your concern is of an administrative nature, Town Council does not rule on these matters and the Town Manager has the final decision.
