What is Shut Down?

Are you a frequent user of our pool facility?

Make sure you're aware, annual shutdown comes into effect today! 2019 Shutdown starts September 3, and is expected to be completed October 2.

Pool Shutdown is an important part of the annual cycle of our Aquatic Facility. While one month out of service may be an inconvenience for many, this month keeps your pool healthy and functional and helps reduce maintenance related service impacts throughout the year.

To help users understand what we do during shutdown, Hinton Recreation will be sharing photos and descriptions of some of the work undertaken on our website. Click here to see what we do during the closure.

While our facility is closed, our neighbours in Edson and Grande Cache will honour your passes for entrance to their facilities. Jasper will be able to accomodate our users until September 15.
