One book, one town - what book should all of Hinton read?
We need YOUR help choosing a book for the first ever Hinton Reads hosted by the Hinton Municipal Library. Let us know what your favourite book is before September 8 by phoning, emailing, finding us on Facebook, or dropping by in person with your suggestions.
?We’ve already had some great suggestions, including:
- The Education of Little Tree by Forrest Carter
- Divinity and the Python by Bonnie Randall
- The Rosie Project by Graeme C. Simsion
- Half-Broke Horses by Jeanette Walls
- Who Has Seen the Wind by W.O. Mitchell
Drop by the library to check out a display of all the possibilities. From September 8 to the 15, make sure to vote for your favourite book from the final three. The winning book for Hinton Reads will be announced on Saturday, September 26 as part of Culture Day celebrations at the library!
Celebrate Canadian Library Month in October by participating in Hinton Reads! Watch the library website or our Facebook page for upcoming information about the special programming and events surrounding the chosen book.
