Community Services Programming Returning to Regular Hours

With the conclusion of the Alberta Teachers' Association (ATA) strike, all Town of Hinton programming and facility schedules will return to regular hours and services.

Effective Wednesday, October 29, 2025

Family & Community Support Services

Hinton Kids for Success (HKFS)

Regular after-school hours
3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Hinton Youth Centre (HYC)

Tuesday to Saturday
3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Effective Saturday, November 1, 2025

Family & Community Support Service

Hinton Family Centre

Monday | 3 - 7 p.m.
Tuesday to Thursday | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre

The Recreation Centre, including pool, arenas, and bouldering wall, will return to its regular schedule and programming on Saturday, November 1.

On Saturday:

Pool opens at 11:30 a.m. for Lane Swim
Courts and bouldering wall open at 9 a.m.
Ice opens at 9 a.m. (regular user group programming)
