Pool Climbing Wall Installation Update

Exciting progress is happening at the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre! Automated Aquatics began installing the brand-new pool climbing wall on October 7.

During installation, the manufacturer delivered the wrong hardware, resulting in a brief delay in completing the project. The correct hardware is expected to arrive next week, and Automated Aquatics will return to finish installation as soon as possible. 

What’s available on Tuesday, October 14 (reopening day):

One of the three sections of the wall is already installed and will be ready for use next week. Swimmers can enjoy climbing on this completed portion while we wait for the rest to be finished.

Once all sections are installed, the wall will feature a fun, challenging new way to enjoy the pool — perfect for both kids and adults looking to test their balance and strength!
