Update: Ammonia Leak at Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre

The Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre remains closed to the public this morning, September 10, 2025. This includes the Library, Family Resource Network, Youth Centre, and Daycare. 

The ammonia leak resulted in a significant loss of ammonia within the plant; as a result, the arenas will be closed until further notice. Avoid the area so crews can safely continue repairs and restore the ammonia plant to full operation. 

FCSS office at the Guild will open to the public at 12 noon.
