Pool Shutdown Progress: 

Week 1 Update

The Aquatic and Facility Maintenance Service Areas have been hard at work during the first week of Pool Shutdown. The team has been working towards completing important maintenance and deep-cleaning projects that keep the pool facilities safe and in top shape for your return.

This week, we completed the following tasks:

• Drain and acidize all three basins
• Deep cleaned First Aid Room
• Deep cleaned the water testing room
• Removed and cleaned filter panels for the main pool filtration system
• Cleaned hair traps for filtration systems
• Cleaned lectronators (chlorine generator)

Thank you for your patience as we complete this essential work. We will continue sharing weekly updates to keep you informed on our progress! In the meantime, all other rec centre amenities remain open, including the bouldering wall, arenas and courts, so come on down to enjoy some indoor recreation.
