Are you looking for a unique way to build your water confidence?

As part of National Drowning Prevention Week, join Hinton Recreation for the Canoe 101 Safety Workshop on Monday, July 21, at Jarvis Lake. 

Led by the Greater Edmonton Racing Canoe & Kayak Club, this full-day, hands-on workshop teaches: 

• Paddle safety
• Rescue technique
• Emergency preparedness
• Basic strokes and teamwork

The workshop is open to all ages and skill levels and includes a full day of paddling, safety training, and outdoor fun. Participants will learn life-saving canoe and water safety skills for just $10 per person.
