Go Girl Conference Recreation Centre Takeover 

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre will be closed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to host the 2025 Go Girl Conference. 

This exciting event welcomes girls in Grades 5-9 from Hinton, Edson, Whitecourt, Jasper, Fox Creek, and Yellowhead County for a full day of activities, inspiration, and fun. To accommodate this event, all public recreation programs, facility access, and drop-in activities will be unavailable during this time. 

The facility will reopen to the public after the event at 4 p.m. for public swimming. 

We appreciate your understanding and encourage the community to support this special event, which empowers young girls through sport, recreation, and personal growth.
