The Town of Hinton and the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) are celebrating Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day beginning March 18 and extending recognition with a full week of gratitude until March 24. Each year, transit systems, businesses, riders, and elected officials recognize and thank Canada’s dedicated public transit operators and workers who keep our cities and towns running.
“Transit staff work hard every day to make our lives easier,” said Marco D’Angelo, CUTA President and CEO. “Let’s show them how much we value and appreciate their hard work, their dedication, and the vital role they play in building vibrant, thriving communities.
The Town Of Hinton encourages all Hintonite’s to share their appreciation for these everyday transit heroes!
“We don’t show our appreciation for the transportation staff nearly enough. The Town of Hinton is proud of our hard-working staff and their combined efforts of over 30 years of driving experience! Today, we highlight these amazing individuals who keep the town of Hinton connected with reliable, safe and friendly transportation. Thank you for all you do for our community!” FCSS Manager, Caryn Bouchard
