Free Rec Centre Entry for Library Card Holders On Family Day

Having fun isn’t hard when you have a library card!

Swim, skate, or climb free at the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre this Family Day (Monday, February 20, 2023, 1pm to 4pm) when you present your library card.

How do I sign up for a library card?

Patrons of all ages can register for a free Hinton Municipal Library membership in person at the library, at 803 Switzer Drive, from Monday to Friday, 10am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday, 12pm to 4pm.

Registering online at www.hintonlibrary.org will allow you to access library resources temporarily but you will still need to visit the library in person to show a piece of government ID with your Hinton or Yellowhead County address listed.

What if I have lost my library card?

Please notify the library immediately if your library card is lost or stolen. The card can then be cancelled to prevent others from using it.

A digital version of your library card can be viewed on the TRACpac app, available on Android and Apple devices.

If you would like to replace your physical library card, visit Hinton Municipal Library during library hours and your membership card can be replaced for a $2 fee.
