Join Council in person

Members of the public are cordially invited back to watch meetings of Hinton Town Council in-person at the Government Centre.

Council Chambers and the Committee Room at the Government Centre, 131 Civic Centre Road, reopened to the public for council meetings on March 1, 2022, when provincial public health restrictions were lifted.

Due to this development, Council has made the decision to no longer livestream Committee of the Whole meetings on YouTube. Instead, the Town is reverting to recording the meetings and uploading them to YouTube the following day. This change is effective from April 12, 2022.

The shift also allows the Town to cut operating costs by reducing staff overtime hours.
 
Town of Hinton Regular Council Meetings will continue to be livestreamed on YouTube.

Hinton Town Council meets for Committee of the Whole meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 4 pm in the Committee Room at Hinton Government Centre.

Regular Council Meetings take place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month in Council Chambers at Hinton Government Centre.

Recorded past council meetings are available on the Town of Hinton YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/tohinton) and on the local Shaw TV channel on Wednesdays at 6 pm and Saturdays at 1 pm.
