Staffing Announcement: Resignation of FCSS Assistant Manager
April 16, 2021
The Town of Hinton and the FCSS Team have, with a mix of sadness and gratitude, accepted the resignation of Jenna Altrogge, FCSS Assistant Manager.
Jenna began working with the Town as a practicum student in the Communications area as a Tourism Marketing Communications summer student in 2013. She returned to the Town in 2014 to the same role upon graduating with her Communications Degree from the University of Alberta. Her subsequent role as the Administrative Assistant to both the Corporate Services and Community Services Departments provided even more opportunities to see her shine and in 2019, FCSS was lucky to bring Jenna onboard as the FCSS Assistant Manager. In her two years with FCSS, Jenna worked hard to bring many Child and Youth programs to life and was the driving force in the success of our Family Resource Network work in Caregiver Education and Support services. Those that have worked with Jenna can attest to her integrity and leadership, as well as the creativity, passion, and dedication she has for her work, team, and community.
The Town of Hinton, especially the FCSS team, will miss Jenna’s constant positivity, remarkable ability to draft reports and grants, as well as her unwavering commitment to the organization. Jenna has truly left a positive and lasting mark in our organization and we are grateful for that. Following Jenna’s last day on May 14th, she will be stepping into her new role as the Communications and Marketing Coordinator with the Rural Development Network in Edmonton. We wish Jenna all the best in her next adventure!
