Non-Union Wage Increase Report Update

During the February 2, 2021 Regular Meeting of Council, Administration presented the 2021 Non-Union Wage Increase Report. Administration has since recognized an omission in the report.
The error found in
Figure 2: Wage Increase 2012-2022, within the report, unintentionally omitted the percentage increase that was awarded to non-union staff through the 2019 budget process.
Administration has prepared an updated report that will be presented to Council on February 9, 2021 (see the
agenda package here). In accordance with section 15.13 of the Council Procedure Bylaw, a Councillor may provide direction to bring the report to a Regular or Special Meeting of Council where a motion calling on Council to rescind or amend a motion previously adopted due to special or extraordinary circumstances.
Administration sincerely apologizes for any inconveniences it may cause and believes this is the best way forward to maintain transparency. For further information, and to read the amended report please
