The Office of the CAO, Strategic Services, and Information Technology teams of the Town of Hinton have been working to ensure that residents can continue to stay up to date on Hinton Town Council activities even during the new normal of physical distancing and reduced gatherings. 

Starting tomorrow, in addition to Hinton Town Council Briefs and recordings being made available in the days following meetings, Hinton Town Council meetings will now be live streamed via our channel, available here.

Users can access the channel now to set reminder and view our past videos. Previous Council meetings will not be uploaded to Youtube; view them here. 

Patience Kindly Requested
As this is a new service, which uses multiple pieces of online software in chain to deliver the video feed, technical difficulties (particularly in our first stream) are likely.

We appreciate your patience as we work together to deliver this requested service. 

This additional means of communication is available while Town Council Meetings occur via Zoom in our Standing Committee room; unfortunately, we do not have the ability to encode and live stream in Council Chambers due to hardware constraints at this time.

We continue to seek options to enable this ability in the future, but are currently committing to this service being available only while we utilize the Zoom service to host meetings.
