WHY: Council will hear submissions from interested persons or their representatives in respect of proposed Road Closure Bylaw No. 1176
What is proposed to change?
The purpose of Road Closure Bylaw No. 1176 is to permanently close the following described road:
PLAN 4703TR
ALL THAT PORTION OF ROAD (HIGHWAY STREET)
LYING SOUTH WEST OF THE SOUTH WESTERLY PRODUCTION OF THE SOUTH EAST BOUNDARY OF CORNER CUT OFF OF ROAD (KEIL DRIVE) ON PLAN 0826212 ACROSS SAID ROAD
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS

The intent upon closure of the road is to include this land with the adjacent lands to allow for development.
Who is applying for the change?
Eagle River Planning Services has applied for the road closure to support a proposed future development and amalgamation with adjacent lands.

Written submissions received 6 days or less from the date of Public Hearing will be read into the record at the beginning of the Public Hearing prior to the hearing of any in person or online submissions. Submissions received earlier than 6 days from the date of Public Hearing can be examined at the Government Centre and will be included in the Public Hearing agenda.
