Temporary Patio Program

In support of local restaurants, bars and other food and drink establishments impacted by COVID-19 restrictions, the Town of Hinton is implementing a “pilot program” allowing temporary outdoor patio space on public property in front of their business such as sidewalks and/or up to two parking stalls on public roads from now until October 31, 2021. To participate in the program, businesses will follow the Temporary Outdoor Patio Space on Public Property Guidelines and sign and return a Declaration form to at no cost to the business. 

Interested businesses should contact the Development Services Department at or call 780-865-6010 for assistance.
