Request for Application for Residential Bin Sizes

Town Council approved for Administration to move forward with the modernization of the Town's Waste Collection System and curbside pick up on July 14, 2020. As part of this initiative, all residence will have their current black or blue bins replaced with new ninety-six (96) gallon black bins.

In addition to this change in the waste collection system, Council approved alternate waste collection bin sizes. The feedback received from the residents that participated in the Modernized Waste Management Survey indicated interest in having the sixty-four (64) gallon bin option. This smaller bin is available upon request for those residents that do not need the standard ninety-six (96) gallon sized bin. If you are unsure of the difference in sizes, the ninety-six (96) gallon bin can hold the estimated waste for a 4 to 6 person household. The sixty-four (64) gallon bin can hold the estimated waste for a 3 to 4 person household.

In preparation for the replacement of all the remaining residential bins, the Town requests that all residential property owners fill out an application form ONLY if you would like to request the smaller sixty-four (64) gallon bin. Please have the form returned to our office by April 23, 2021 to facilitate the next order of waste collection bins from the supplier.

You can get all the information, application form and the Bin sizes infographic in our website here.
