Cannabis and vaping awareness Initiatives funding

Health Canada has announced funding for micro-grants for cannabis and vaping awareness initiatives. Micro-grants are a new way for the Government of Canada to provide grants of up to $1,000 to support smaller public education projects.  Eligible recipients are Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are 16 years and older and not-for-profit organizations. Projects must demonstrate a positive impact on their target audience and how they have the potential to raise awareness about the health effects of cannabis and/or risks of vaping. Applications will be accepted starting immediately, on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration given to fair geographical and audience distribution. ($200,000 commitment over the next 3 years).
