The Hinton Stingrays Junior Lifeguard Swim Club is proud to host the annual Claire Jones Memorial Swim Meet on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre Pool.
This event honours the memory of Claire Jones and celebrates her love for lifeguarding and lifesaving sport. It’s a highlight in Hinton’s recreation calendar, bringing together swimmers from across Alberta for a day of competition, camaraderie, and community spirit.
Pool Closure Notice:
- Friday, November 21: Pool closes at 6:30 p.m. for setup
- Saturday, November 22: Pool closed all day for the event
Spectators are encouraged to attend and enjoy the excitement of lifesaving sport in action!
Volunteers Needed:
We’re seeking community volunteers to help with event setup, timing, and various event roles.
