Fire Restriction Notice

The Total Fire Ban has been lifted for the Town of Hinton, and a Fire Restriction has been issued.

There is still a risk of fire due to continued dry and windy conditions and the Fire Restriction will remain in place until sufficient moisture levels are reached.

Under the Town of Hinton Fire Restriction:
- No Fire Permits will be issued
- The discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited

Cooking and heating appliances such as barbecues, recreational fire pits, and patio heaters fueled by liquid fuel such a propane or natural gas are permitted.
Outdoor fire pits are only permitted in approved firepits when winds are below 15 km/hr.
