The Town of Hinton along with ISL Engineering and Land Services, is developing a Parks, Open Space and Trails Master Plan. The purpose of the Master Plan is to identify gaps, needs and priorities for the Town.
As part of the development of the Master Plan, we are undertaking a review of the Town’s existing parks, open spaces and trail networks, including best practices from similar municipalities, and implementing a comprehensive engagement process to gather feedback from Town residents and stakeholders.
We are currently in the second phase (Explore) of the projects and, in November, we will be seeking input on the concept designs that were developed based on what we heard and learned in Phase 1.
On November 29, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Government Centre Foyer, project team members will be attending an open house to speak to residents and stakeholders and gather input on the concept designs for the Parks, Open Space and Trails (POST) Master Plan and Maxwell Lake Recreation Area Outline Plan.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Unable to join us on November 29?
Visit the links below and provide your feedback online from November 14 to December 16, 2018.
Using the feedback gathered during the second phase of engagement, we will revise the concept designs and present the recommended plans in February 2019.
