The Hinton RCMP Detachment provides policing services for the Town of Hinton and surrounding areas, including Brule, Centreomin, Coal Valley, Coalspur, Entrance, Gregg Lake, Hinton, Leyland, Lovett, Luscar, Mountain Park, Obed (and Obed Lake), Rock Lake, Smallboy's Camp and Steeper.
